Sore and healing.

Way too sore from the hike, I did attempt to get started on some indoor riding however my muscles wouldn’t allow it. The hike that Annika and I did wore our bodies out to the point that movement is minimal.

Today’s article is a bit short due to the need to allow muscles to recovery. The moment we can pedal we will. Today will be a day of rest but if we get to feeling more able to move then we may ride some.

Our son and I are working on my indoor setup to allow more computer use during the long hours of indoor riding. If all works out with the new setup I will be able to do some pc gaming while riding on Zwift, more details as they’re available.

  1. Next time, immediately after a big hike like that, or at least almost immediately, go for a ride. 10 to 20 miles, and as fast as you like (it doesn’t have to be slow). You’ll be amazed at how quickly you recover from the hike. Try it, you’ll like it.
