What will be the adventure this morning?

The day went pretty well yesterday for the most part. I did get my exercises done, I did get to go for a nice bike ride with my friend Jeff, and I did get to stream on our Twitch Channel as planned.

Jeff and I met up at close to 7am and it had just started raining. I was riding my bike near his area when I saw workers open up a fire hydrant which flooded the street so I couldn’t get by them; so I called Jeff to get together.

So when I stopped to text Jeff the rain started up with just little light rain which for the remainder of our bike ride continuously did. We rode our bikes on a simple route, something to just get our legs pumping. We enjoyed a nice chat while we pedaled around Pima road until we got to the canal and then we headed towards Tempe lake.

During our bike ride, I told him that I wanted to get some pictures of the statues in Old Town so we headed that way to do so. We stopped at the first set of horses and we posed our bikes for a photo.

A little bit more down the road and we made it to the Big Rabbit which sits outside on the corner of one of the intersections in Old Town, I always forget the street.

After we took the pictures at the big rabbit we headed into the Art District so we could get a picture of the cowboy on the horse.

After we left Old Town and headed towards Tempe lake we took the canal trails towards Mill Avenue. During our trip on the canal, we found a female tortoise crawling across the lanes so we stopped to pick her up and help her to get to the other side so no one would run over her; so cute.

The bike ride was a simple 26 miles and we had a blast. When I made it home it was time to check on Marley (our dog) and to try and get her to eat some food. She hasn’t been eating enough over the last 4 to 5 days, fingers crossed. She has been acting fine but she turns her nose up to all food. Over the next few days, she will be going back to her vet to get her oxygen therapy and hydration injections, more news on her as we have it.

Our Twitch Stream launched at Noon (MST)

The stream launched nicely and had no glitches. I played some Overwatch and ran into a ton of cheaters, that game is getting so overloaded with cheats it’s making it hard to want to play it. When it got closed to the end of our stream I loaded up some World of Warcraft and enjoyed some conversation with a few of our viewers. Things went pretty smooth and I’m looking forward to next weeks stream which will be at the same time on Wednesdays.

New Video as Promised

The new video of our hiking in South Mountain did finally go up yesterday morning so I wanted to make sure and put it here for you to enjoy.

Today’s plan is?

This morning I am heading out early for a nice bike ride, a few big climbs but I’m not sure yet where I am going to be riding to. I’ve learned that it is best that I go out without a destination and just enjoy the ride. The plan is to ride at least 60 miles, that feels like a nice comfortable distance; I’d love to visit a new city. I’ll be sure to take some video and some photos to share for you in tomorrow update.

Random Remembrance

Oh, I forgot to mention that Annika and I did some catching up on “Game of Thrones” and we saw the Starbucks coffee cup mistake.

It was totally noticeable however it was funny and awesome all at once. The upside to all of this is we got to enjoy the last two episodes as we ended our day, I think they did a fair job however some things didn’t sit well with me.

Okay, it’s that time

I hope you’re enjoying keeping up with our daily adventures as we are enjoying sharing them with you. Hugs and many thanks to all of our followers here on our website and thanks so much to our awesome Patreon Supporters. We wish you all an epic adventure day and we will return with the next adventure tomorrow morning.
