An afternoon adventure with Pugsley and Lilith

Yesterday was very busy and a fun day, we didn’t want to be that person who posted Happy Father’s Day as our article as most of the planet was doing it; I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that we don’t follow the norm; we’re all original all the time. We like to write about what our blog is about and not the latest fashion or trends to reach for views by tricking a reader to check us out for something we aren’t about. We would like to say that we hope all “Good Father’s” around the world had an awesome Father’s Day, we had a blast enjoying Father’s Day with family.

The day started out a bit late and Annika and I actually got a little bit of sleep. We were so behind on what we had to do that I had to cut the morning article short. Yesterday was a day crammed with a lot to do in a short time. We headed out to Costco to grab our groceries, we had planned to swing by Bike Barn of Phoenix to see Dave but they were closed. After grabbing our things from Costco we got back to see Lilith and Pugsley curiously digging into the boxes to see what all we got; it was so cute. We put everything away and played with the munchkins a few minutes until they passed out.

We ran an errand to get some pictures of Marley printed for a shadow box that should be arriving soon. We also had to cancel our trip to New Mexico to visit my parents due to everything going on, that was going to be today. My stepdad is in the Nationals Bowling Tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We called them to wish him a happy Father’s Day and a Happy Birthday.

After grabbing the prints of Marley we went back home to play a little Overwatch before the adventure of the day began.

Adventure’s of our Little Munchkins (Our Furry Critters)

Lilith is daily becoming even more hyper, she is very playful and loves to wrestle with Pugsley. Now that Pugsley goes outside more often, Lilith waits by the door for his return and watches through the screen to see where he is going. The other day Lilith got to go for an adventure to visit the family. She was loved on so much that she slept all the way back home, yesterday it was Pugsley’s turn.

After Annika and I completed a few matches on Overwatch we packed up a travel backpack for Pugsley and loaded him up for a road trip. It was time for Pugsley to meet the rest of the family and what an epic time to do so; Father’s Day dinner.

When we arrived we set up Pugsley’s crate, his pillow, his pee pad, his water, and food bowl and then took him outside by the pool to play. We started playing with Pugsley so that he wouldn’t be so hyper while inside the house and oddly he was super chill. More family arrived and Pugsley was the center of attention the whole night. The kids couldn’t stop loving on him as he chased them barking through the yard, it was an awesome time. About every hour Pugsley was passed out on his pillow in the house and then he would wake to start playing again. He was so worn out that he slept all the way home and into the night. It was a great night out with Pugsley and when we returned Lilith wanted to hear about it all.

It took a bit to get Lilith to settle down so that we could get a little sleep, Annika tended to them throughout the night allowing me to get a little sleep; what a great night as a family.

Adventure Cycling / Zwift / RGT Cycling / Peloton / Fitness

We didn’t get to get on our Peloton or indoor cycling gear yesterday and today we’re getting a late start but we’re about to get started. Today is another busy day however we got a little rest. We’re going to get a few Peloton workouts in as our day gets started and then we’re gonna get some errands done. It’s laundry day again due to Pugsley watering the bed thinking it was a tree. We may get to visit Dave at Bike Barn, we have plans to check out some of our TV Shows and maybe a movie, we may even get a game of Overwatch in before resting for the day.

PC Gaming and our Twitch Channel

Annika and I did get to do a little pc gaming to get a couple loot boxes yesterday, however, it was Father’s Day so we had a lot going on so we cut it short. We played a few matches on Overwatch while Pugsley and Lilith took a nap before we headed out for more road tripping.

I will be doing some Overwatch and maybe some World of Warcraft throughout the week. We’ve decided that from here on out, summer will be our indoor exercises and cycling so we will have more gaming time when we’re finished. Our outdoor adventures such as Cycling, Hiking, Bikepacking, Snowboarding, Camping, etc will be Fall, Winter, Spring. In the video above, I was playing Ashe for the first time and got Play of the Game, woohoo. Now let’s get to the Movies, TV, well entertainment section.

Movies, TV Shows, Concerts and Outings

So we didn’t get a chance to watch any of our favorite TV Shows or a movie yesterday, we did, however, find out the oddity that they have remade “The Addams Family (2019)” again and it is supposed to release in October. We found out while trying to explain to Annika’s nieces about where we got the name Pugsley for our puppy, they have never heard of The Addams Family.

I’ve always been a fan of The Addams Family since I was a little munchkin myself. Also, the name for our dog came from Surly Pugsley bikes, being we’re hoping to get them soon once things settle a bit. We do plan to watch this movie when it releases and we’re also planning to see a few concerts coming to town soon as well. Breaking Benjamin is returning to Phoenix Three Days Grace, we’re certainly going to be attending that concert. We’re also planning a few day trip to Sedona soon and maybe Jerome. More details on our outings soon.

Today’s Adventure and/or Plan

We have a fair amount of things that we aim to do today. Annika is about to start her workout on Peloton while I tend to the munchkins and then she will watch them so that I can get one in. When we finish our workouts we have to get the house organized, do some laundry, run a few errands and use today as a family day at home with our munchkins. Maybe a movie, definitely a tv show we like, I know we will do a game or two of Overwatch. We have to pick up our mail as Pugsley received a Package. Today’s adventure will be epic with our munchkins and tomorrow we take Pugsley into his vet for the first time to get his shots. Alright, let’s tidy this article up.

You Know the Drill

Oh yeah, it’s that time. After oversleeping we’re a bit behind so we’re gonna get our workout on and see how indoor working out goes with the new kitten and puppy in the same room. Thanks so much for the support and we hope you have an epic adventure day.

Important Mentions:

We like to keep in mind daily that not only are we always focusing on riding our bikes long distance but also that many people we know or even do not know are out on the roads and trails traveling. So if you’re out on the road driving a car please be extra cautious and watch for cyclists who may be on the road with you day or night.
