Yesterday so much took place that a lot of it was a blur in some cases. Currently, I’m still awake going on about 20 minutes of sleep but I did get to enjoy a little bit of one of the TV shows I like while chilling with Pugsley.
Adventure’s of our Little Munchkins (Our Furry Critters)
Pugsley adventure to the vet yesterday was actually cute. We started the morning a little later than normal but when we went to the vet we were early. The whole staff was excited to get to meet Pugsley and was asking about Lilith while also saving kind words about Marley; it was an experience. We arrived early so that Pugsley wouldn’t have that rushed feeling being in the vet for his first visit. Pugsley’s vet looked him over and we went over the plan for him. She decided that since Pugsley has a buddy that is a kitten that she wanted to start him on a dewormer before doing his shots. She explained how we’d go about this week with a simple pill when we got home and one syringe down his throat each morning for 3 days. Once we’ve done those steps we are to come back with a stool sample to send off for test and he will receive his other shots on that day. Better to be safe than sorry, and yup we agree. We went over nutrition and treats for Pugsley while we were at the vet, and afterward, we discussed Lilith’s next appointment which is coming up. We made a plan for both Lilith and Pugsley to be visiting on the same day to make things simpler.
After our visit to the vet, we returned to spend some time with Pugsley and Lilith. Pugsley did all of his business outside all day long, and he did great letting us know when he wanted to go. Lilith was super playful and when she was tired she loved to cuddle. The sour apple stuff is helping with the biting however that crap stinks very badly and it makes it difficult to even want to smell our animals. The two of our munchkins are teething at the moment so we have to keep an eye on what they’re chewing on and also Pugsley here and there tends to wine a little from it bothering him; he is such a baby haha.
Adventure Cycling / Zwift / RGT Cycling / Peloton / Fitness
So Annika did get to do a little bit of a workout on the Peloton yesterday and I was wanting to, however, time wasn’t on our side due to sleeping in a little. This morning I am planning or at least hoping to be able to do some Peloton cycling and maybe some Zwift and RGT Cycling depending on if the munchkins are sleeping or not. Right now they like to be right on our feet so if they’re awake it is impossible to pedal inside without one of us there to keep them away.
We are looking into making some changes in our bike room to make more room while at the same time rearranging our office/living room/exercise area so that we can close off the Peloton and Wahoo Kickr area from our animals. So far 2019 has just been a huge pain in our ass when it comes to being able to ride bikes so we’re focusing on a ride when and how we can during the year while we make adjustments to prevent things from getting in our way anymore. A lot of our time when it comes to cycling has been looking into how to make things work around it.
PC Gaming and our Twitch Channel
We were able to get in a few games on Overwatch yesterday and we attempted to stream on Twitch, it took a few minutes and we turned off the stream. Less and less streaming on Twitch is the goal as nothing will ever come of that platform. It’s so much easier to enjoy our game time and spend more time focusing on fun and living life versus waiting for some random troll to come to the channel to try and get their stream known.
Gaming yesterday was okay, not too much fun given the kind of people we kept ending up in a match with. It was cheater day for some reason. I’m guessing that since Blizzard released a new skin option as long as players were in the quest to earn it, it brought out the shitty gamers. A few quick games quickly went to crap so we decided to call it a day on Overwatch.
Movies, TV Shows, Concerts and Outings
After gaming has gone bad we turned on the tv to try and find a movie or one of our shows and not too much longer we found ourselves playing with our munchkins. We tried to put on one movie and we were spending so much time chilling with Pugsley and Lilith that nothing held our attention. As it reached time for bed Lilith went to bed with Annika and I stayed up a bit with Pugsley.
Pugsley and I enjoyed a few episodes of “Lucifer” and every few minutes he had to go outside. He was restless as his teeth were bothering him so he was chewing on anything he could put his mouth on even when he was sleeping. I was dozing in and out as we watched each episode, I’m sure I missed a lot however it didn’t matter. The show is entertaining for Pugsley and me both and sort of our TV time together.
Today’s Adventure and/or Plan
Today’s goal is to try and rest a little as our week starts today and it’s my shift with the munchkins at night. I hope to be able to ride on my indoor setup between the munchkins napping. One seems to sleep and the other wants to play, it’s a hit or miss situation right now. I might get a head start on rearranging our house to prepare for modifications depending on how the day goes.
Oh, we did get our brand ready, it’s a surprise. Details on it soon.
You Know the Drill
Alright, gang, You know the drill. Time for coffee and to get the day started, we can’t thank you all enough for the support and we look forward to bringing you another day in our nutty life tomorrow. Have an epic adventure day.
We like to keep in mind daily that not only are we always focusing on riding our bikes long distance but also that many people we know or even do not know are out on the roads and trails traveling. So if you’re out on the road driving a car please be extra cautious and watch for cyclists who may be on the road with you day or night.
