A lot of things took place yesterday but most importantly out of the things, crate training went pretty good.
The morning started out well with minimal sleep, some coffee, and of course, I went through all of the new blog posts from people we follow to catch up; I read their posts every morning. After I finished up my reading and got the new article done for you all to read, Annika was headed out the door and it was time to get the munchkins situated so that I could do my workout.
As I said in yesterdays article that If I make a plan something gets in the way, well once again it did. During my Peloton workouts, I kept having to stop due to Lilith and Pugsley being too rough wrestling and Lilith getting into things she shouldn’t be. So I only got 9 miles in on Peloton and when I went to set up to do some Zwift riding the critters continued to cause havoc. So I finally got them to take their first morning nap and I set up to launch our Twitch channel to stream and do some gaming, well once again about every few moments I had to pause the stream, shut it off and restart, or drop from the match due to Lilith’s continued attacking Pugsley while he was sleeping, you name it; the whole day sort of went like this. The Twitch stream was shut off due to the continued having to stop, so yet another thing disrupted in the day.
I was already functioning on fumes due to being kept up most of the night and now at this moment I only got almost an hour of sleep again. So about 3-3.5 hours of sleep in two days now, including trying to nap in the day to catch up. Yesterday I told Annika that the munchkins should be pretty worn out as well so I wanted to go out today for a long 100-mile bike ride as long as nothing got in the way, sadly I was kept up all night.
On the upside of yesterday, many things still got done that needed to be done. I got to focus on time with Lilith and Pugsley to teach them crate training.
Adventure’s of our Little Munchkins (Our Furry Critters)
It was pretty fun to work with them no matter how tired I was. They did so well however anytime that I went out of our home for a few minutes and came back, Lilith had climbed into Pugsley’s crate to attack him while he was sleeping.
Crate training went well and I’m sure that soon Lilith will stop with the havoc she has been providing in the household; “no kitty, it’s my pot pie!”. After a few hours of doing crate training and in between, I did some fetch with Pugsley and took him out for several walks and runs; he will soon be taken to go hiking with us.
This weekend Pugsley gets his shots and afterward, we will start getting him his little hiking shoes to protect his feet and start taking him out to the trails on the cooler days and times.
Adventure Cycling / Zwift / RGT Cycling / Peloton / Fitness / Hiking / Running
So a few miles for yesterday and right now I’m too tired to even focus however I do have plans on a couple centuries in the next few weeks. I did once again attempt RGT Cycling and honestly, I’m gonna wait until they fix the bugs before I attempt it again. As for Zwift, it is coming soon, more in July and August. We will be doing some hiking here and there on cooler days to teach Pugsley, so short hikes and when it reaches fall we will be back to hiking a few times a week.
I’ve signed up to start doing a few runs. Annika and I want to start working on our running leg muscles to get a new workout on our cycling legs. This will help with long hikes in the future. We’re getting our bodies ready for bikepacking the Arizona Trail sometime next year.
PC Gaming and our Twitch Channel
On the Gaming front and our Twitch Stream, I’m gonna take a break for a bit from it. Gaming will always be going on when Annika and I feel up to it however putting time and effort into Twitch just isn’t worth putting any true effort anymore. We may still randomly stream here and there but other than that we may also just no longer go live again; who knows. We will continue to enjoy gaming without the toxicity of Twitch and it’s community.
Movies, TV Shows, Concerts and Outings
Yesterday’s outings consisted of helping a few of our neighbors, I even helped build a wagon last night; fun fun. Oh, and I did go for a ride on the Lyft Scooters again which was pretty chill and fun. Outings right now are minimal due to training our puppy.
As for Movies and TV yesterday. We watched Season 5 episode 2 of Black Mirror and Pugsley and I enjoyed or dozed on and off while watching “Inspired To Ride” again. Other than that this section in today’s article is pretty minimal. Now let’s get to today’s plan.
Today’s Adventure and/or Plan
I’m so exhausted today it is hard to even comprehend the word plan, haha. Many things to get done before the weekend and I had hoped that one of them today would be an outside bike ride, however over the weekend or at least before the end of this month, I will ride at least 1 century (100-mile ride).
Once I finish this article I hope to be able to get a nap so that I can function a little better today. I have committed to assisting a few neighbors with a few things and Annika and I have things we need to get done here as well. Workouts and more Peloton will take place tomorrow, hopefully, we can sleep tonight.
Today’s article is a bit short however I’m thankful to have not fallen asleep trying to write it, haha. More tomorrow, thanks for reading.

Alright, gang, You know the drill. Time for coffee and to get the day started, we can’t thank you all enough for the support and we look forward to bringing you another day in our nutty life tomorrow. Have an epic adventure day. Also a special note, we’ve updated some of the information below and even added to it.
“You’ve reached the end of today’s story”
We like to keep in mind daily that not only are we always focusing on riding our bikes long distance but also that many people we know or even do not know are out on the roads and trails traveling. So if you’re out on the road driving a car please be extra cautious and watch for cyclists who may be on the road with you day or night.
We are working on a project called #AZBIKEANDHIKE. Currently, we have a Strava Club set up for #AZBIKENHIKE‘s Cycling and Hiking. We’re working on the website as we plan it to be a community for the people in Arizona that love to ride bikes and hike. Our goal is to also share great places to get gear, trails to ride or hike, and just awesome fun places to enjoy the outdoors in Arizona. More details to come as this project progresses, we can say at this time that this site will not rely or have profiles on any social media such as Twitter, Facebook, or other.
